URGENT

Hello,
This is Bugs and she's about a year old. She is from the Lame Deer
reservation and vet says she's is a Rottweiler mix breed. I was pet
sitting for the original owner for which was only to be for a week while
the owner recovered from surgery. However, it ended up being a few months
now and the owner is unable to take her back as he did not recover from
surgery as well as they hoped. Plus, they had a baby and because of her
temperament that seemed to have changed while she was with me.
She was getting along with my 13 years old border mix and 3 years old
Aussie. Somewhere down the line she became aggressive about her food and
so we had to feed them separately. Then from out of nowhere without being
provoked she began to attack my 13 years old border. She has attacked her
3 times already breaking skin and so now we keep them separated. We're
not sure if she has some instincts to take down the top leader of the pack
because my 13 years old is getting weak in her age. She doesn't€™t seem to
mind my 3 years old as they play and have plenty of room to run on our 20
acre. They don't wander off and they don't chase our horses. She does
like to herd and does a great job of that. She's not train she just
seems to instinctively know where we want the horses to go.
With the young kids she adores them but does have a tendency to jump on
them, knocking them down and lick their faces. We're trying to break her
of that habit and this reason is why the owner are hesitant to take her
back. They're afraid if she becomes too aggressive she will harm the
baby.
I hate to take her to the shelter and want to give her a second chance but
I feel that she needs to be an only dog and with someone who can spend
time with her that she deserves. Sh's lovable, and eager to please but
hyper also. So she needs room to play and be busy.
I have only a short time with her before I have to take her to the
shelter.
You can text me at 860-6844 or email me back at this address, sundayrcks@yahoo.com I'm deaf so texting or emailing is the best way to reach me.
Thank you,
Diana Yost
