I was just a country girl at heart, living a laid back life on the ranch, watching over the livestock and appreciating the simple life. I had no idea it would all come crashing down with the unexpected passing of my mom. She was a fantastic lady and we made quite a team, and now I’m left without a family.

For the time being, I have moved to Montana and become part-owner in a Kennel. My foster dad offered me this great opportunity and I thought I should expand my skills to include a business venture — might come in handy with my new family. He handles all of the computer work, while I do the “hands on” work with the other dogs, like explaining when and why they should listen to my partner. It works beautifully most of the time, although a few times he has acted like I’m one of “them” and should be listening to him too! I just brush it off and get back to business…

My foster dad takes me with him to lots of places, including PetSmart, where I’ve met lots of new people. I love cats, dogs, riding in the car, all kinds of people (even kids), but the thing I love most is…Beggin Strips! In fact, if you have Beggin Strips, you have my full attention!

I have adjusted well to the move from my old home to this one, and I think I could adjust to one more move, if you are the right family for me. I am at a great age right now because I’m not such a kid anymore. I will still play a lot, but I can also act mature when you want me to be. Growing up on a ranch gave me lots of life experience that a lot of other dogs my age don’t have…ask to meet me, and you’ll see what I mean.
