Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

UPDATE 2-12-2011
Panda continues to improve. She really is a very sweet and loving dog. She is allowing most strangers to pet her head and if she doesn't want to be petted she just walks away rather than snarl or snap. She also is trying very hard to play with other dogs but gets scared when they start hopping around. She approachs every dog with her little stub a waggin! I am so pleased at how "happy" she is now. She really needs a home where she can continue to improve and flourish. I am sure there is someone out there that can provide this for this deserving dog.
Panda was adopted from us as an older pup. She was normal, playful, and learning basic commands. She was returned to us a very changed dog of almost 2 years old. She would often go into a snarling , defensive posture if she felt threatened in any way. She would not eat if watched, but would cower instead. She was always nervous and seemed very confused.
Panda has come a long way since then. She is extremely obedient on or off lead. She never snarls or cowers. and will eat normally, even when being petted. She is crate trained, and prefers using it as her den.
Panda is quite an athlete and is great with cats and horses, but not all dogs.
She needs to be in a home with experienced trainers, and probably not young children. Panda is very food motivated, and will soon bond to those that feed her.
