Hey, my name is Butch. Since I’m not the modest type, I’ll just tell you that I am one handsome, buff boy (my foster mom calls me awesome too, but I feel like that’s just downright bragging). I’m 5 years old and still in excellent shape, which is so important to our breed. I work out off and on during the day, throwing a ball around and of course, playing with my other favorite toys too. If I could just find a family who is active and loves to hike or just go for walks regularly, I would be in heaven !!!

My foster mom tells everyone how great I am with kids, dogs and even cats ! I really haven’t met anyone I don’t like. I’m super smart, I use my doggie door to go in and out and overall, I mind very well. I do have just one little issue, and it doesn’t seem like a big deal to me, but my foster mom is worried about my safety….. so, you should know that I can open gates all by myself. I just flip the latch up and off I go to play! So, to spoil my fun, my foster mom will require snaps for all gates in my new home.

Well, keep me in mind if you need a workout partner and someone to just hang out with, cuz I’m your guy!!
