Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
Abby is a 6 yr old, spayed female, GWK,GWL, interested in cats, but corrects well, but is not fixated on them. She was pulled from the shelter the day before she was to be put down (she was on the kill list for the next day). She appears to have two problems with a common solution. She has seperation anxiety. I suggest crate training as a solution to the problem. She loves the hose, and will stand to be hosed off, but dosn't seem to like to wade. She is very gentle around children, rides in cars well, walks on lead, gets along with others, and works well off lead. Abby is a self confident, relaxed with people, and obedient. With some love and training, Abby will make a great companion. Abbey was an owner turn in to BAS because they no longer had time for her. The first week we had her, she placed herself between energetic puppies and very active 6 year old kids, to protect them (the kids). UPDATE: Abby is crate trained, in fact she will go in her crate on her own for quiet time. She doesn't like to be left but if you leave a toy in her crate with her she manages just fine. She loves having a family and will fit in just about any home! Her favorite thing to do is just be with you. (new picture, Abby is wearing the purple collar) 040608 Laurel, MT - A.S.
