Have you ever thought about what kind of dog Clint Eastwood might have? I actually think his companion would be a lot like me…….by the way, my name is River.

My story is pretty amazing, and you may not believe it, but here goes. After one crazy night of carousing, I found myself surrounded by cops, and quite frankly, I’m still not sure why — I was minding my own business and not hurting anyone. I knew there was no escape, and I was ready to go peacefully, but for some reason they didn’t close in on me. I was starting to wonder what was going to happen, when out of nowhere a woman appeared…..little did I know this was to be my new foster mom, and boy was she in charge !! She had treats, and the rest is history………… (My treats are very important to me, I’m what you might call “food motivated”).

I’m a very independent BIG boy, I don’t pay much attention to other dogs, in fact, I’m really “all business”. And, because of my size it might be best if there were no small children in the house. My new family should know the meaning of “alpha”, and by know, I mean practice!!! Touchy feely is not my thing, although attention is great….I just want to find that Clint Eastwood personality who understands that two independent souls can be perfect partners for life……….

So, “Go ahead, make my day”……adopt me !!!
