Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
Rafael is a Rottweiler mix with wire hair. He is just over two years old and weighs about 95 pounds. He is very well mannered indoors, knows basic commands such as sit, loves to frolic in a fenced yard, and can’t wait for the next road trip he gets to go on. Raf is fixed, and is current on routine vaccinations and rabies. We have not had him long enough to find out how house trained he is, but that info will be modified on pet finder when we get a better feel for it.
Rafael is kind of a new arrival. We have not had the ability to find out how house trained he is, but he has had a few accidents in his kennel. Also he does ok on a leash, pulls only just a little, but the second you grab his collar he gets real spooked and try's to break free of your grip. Raph is ok around cats unless the cat provokes him. I know this one because of a cat we have in the office who intentionally try's to warn off dogs. Rafael went defensive and held his ground, but didn’t go after the cat. Mostly he's a gentle giant, he is real calm around kids, and have not seen any kind of nervous behavior when he is around kids.
