Handsome Blue is looking for a stable home that can provide him with love,
consistency, and boundaries. He is a smidge insecure, and bonds quickly
with both people and dogs once he's past his initial anxiety about making
new friends. It's not subtle when he decides he wants you to be his BFF. He
leans all of his 93 pounds into you, gazes up at you adoringly, and wags
his little nub tail so enthusiastically that you will feel too loved to
even consider moving and making him stand up on his own. He's a lovebug. At
the Shelter he can be nervous being handled, especially by strangers, is
leash reactive with dogs, and is intense at mealtimes. With the guidance of
consistent, Rottweiler experienced adopters we expect that his confidence
will grow and that insecurity will go away. And then you'll have an
affectionate oversized lap dog who will entertain you for years to come.
Blue is working on his manners at the Shelter and can't wait to show them
off to you!
