Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Chop is NOT in the care of BSRR, he is being listed as a referral for the Heart of the Valley shelter in Bozeman, MT. He was evaluated by one of our trainers and thought he would be a good dog for someone familiar with the breed and would give him the direction and discipline that bully breeds require.
Chop was neutered on August 6th and is recovering. He was originally from Idaho where he had the run of four acres. He is seen as a typical male Rottweiler who will push buttons but very loving from those who will not take any guff from him. He is currently bonded to a female staff member and she takes no guff from him. His cat test didn't go well and he probably won't be good with other male dogs. He is territorial and if something startles him he will give a good warning bark but is easily managed on a leash and would be even more so with a pinch collar. He was introduced to a female Rottweiler through the fence and he barked and was very currious but shown no aggression. It is likely that in his first three years he was not around other dogs and doesn't know how to interact with them. He is curious when they go by but nothing more. His behaviors are typical of a male Rottweiler his age and just needs a chance with an experienced owner who is willing to take the time to teach him the ways of the world.
If you are interested in this handsome boy, please submit an application on our site. the shelter wants us to approve an application. We will contact the Heart of the Valley Shelter with your information.
