Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Scout is in TX and is NOT in the hands of BSRR. He is being listed to help get him out of this facility and into a home where he belongs. You will need to contact the person at the bottom of the email for more information.
I know of a dog named Scout that I believe is either a pure bred Rottie or a Rottie mix. He is at a holding facility in Leggett TX. This facility is not a shelter, but a place that the county takes dogs that are found as strays and holds them until they are claimed or put to sleep. The facility is outdoors, and it does have a roof but is all open which exposes them to the elements. The grounds are sand and the dogs there are all in metal cages. There have been several flea infestations over the years. It is not a place that a poor soul should have to spend days on end. Not only that, but they are only fed once a day. They do have a volunteer that goes to spend time with them, and they also have inmates from a local jail who will go out from time to time, but that is it. Scout is very friendly to the volunteer who goes out there. It is unknown right now how he is with other dogs, as the volunteer does not feel comfortable doing introductions by herself. He is not neutered and is a very good boy. I will be getting more pictures and a video of him. He was picked up as a stray and the vet thinks he is between 9 mos and 18 mos old. He gets along with the dogs on either side of him, but introductions would need to be done with others.
