Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
Cera is being listed as a referral to help get her exposure for the shelter. The information is that of the shelter staff as she is NOT in the Big Sky foster program.
Hi my name is Leah Ketner and I work at the Rawlins Rochelle Animal Shelter in Rawlins, Wyoming. We currently got a 5 year old female Rottweiler named Cera who was surrendered due to not getting along with other dogs in the home and getting in a couple of fights. So there was a senior Rottweiler in the home and when she passed away Cera started not getting along with most of the other dogs in the home. I personally believe it was a dominance issue because the one that passed was definitely the leader of the pack. She is spayed and current on vaccines. I have one photo of her and it explains her goofy personality. She is playful and knows how to sit. She does need help getting into vehicles that are taller ( I think alot has to do with her weight. She is very female adult friendly and becomes male adult friendly once she has to get to know them. She does well if they give treats and sit down (she loves hot dogs and cheese!) She isnt aggressive with them, just more skittish and hesitant. She is a thick girl and could probably use some weight loss. We don't know how she is with kids, but we think kids 12 and older would be fine.
If you are interested in adopting this beautiful girl, please contact Leah Ketner 307-328-4534 leahmmanley2011@gmail.com lmanley@rawlins-wyoming.com
