Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Rodney is a beautiful rottweiler possibly hound mix. He is currently at the Riverton Animal Adoption Center in Riverton, Wyoming. Below is what the
Shelter Manager says about Rodney:
There have been a couple of male dogs that he absolutely hates, but if they are mild mannered and don’t challenge him he seems fine. As far as cats, he sniffed them but didn’t get all excited and try to kill any of them. That’s not to say he wouldn’t chase if they ran, but he doesn’t seem to have a huge prey drive. Just a healthy curiosity. He’s about two years old or so. Likes to play fetch and sits, but needs a refresher course on commands. He walks on a leash okay if you make him. I haven’t seen him act aggressive toward any human, but would recommend only older children because of his size and exuberance. He needs some room to burn off his energy, I think a large yard or daily walks would be great.
