DJ came from a neglect case. He is a very quiet boy who is somewhat shy of men until he gets to know them.

He is happy to see me and stands on the kennel gate and whines but does not bark and does not jump up on people. He craves attention.

DJ does know basic obedience commands: heel, sit, down, come and stay. He is very sensitive to corrections.

DJ will now take treats from people, he will pick up a toy to play with it, he runs with my other dogs to bark at Bunnies and whatever else they are barking at. He is losing alot of his shyness. When he is excited his entire behind wiggles and wags!

He watches cats but hasn't shown any agression towards them. He is not good with small dogs.

He walks well on a leash, never pulls.

He is working on housebreaking.

He will ride in a crate in the car quietly, however.
He has a thick coat from living outside, so sometimes he seems to get warm easy.

DJ has lived outside all his life, but now that he has been allowed inside a few times, he really wants to come inside all the time. DJ needs a home with someone willing to give him some time to adjust to them and make him a part of their family, not a yard dog.

DJ needs someone who wants to love and cuddle on him, he is just desparate for human touch and affection.
