Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
Rocky is quite the boy - he is a very large dog but is also overweight right now and we are working on taking some weight off but even at a good weight he's a real big boy. His family is in the military and both had to leave for Iraq and couldn't take Rocky. They love him dearly and decided to let him go to rescue to find a new home. Rocky was always a momma's boy and loves to ride in the back seat of the truck. He is house trained, not good around cats but his best buddy was a Chihuahua! He does have a little prey drive for certain animals like pigs, etc. He is okay with other dogs unless they growl at him and he won't tolerate that so he's best as an only dog or with an easy going female. Rocky has had the best possible home and care in the past and really wants the same kind of home this second time around. He has had exposure to young kids and does good with them if they are respectful of him also. Rocky is crate trained.
We will continue to evaluate Rocky Boy and update his website and continue to help him lose weight and get to a healthier situation for him.
