fabulous news - Kaiah has an adoption pending!! Yahoo for our beautiful girl!
This is Kaiah, she has been diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia in both hips. We are asking for a qualified foster home that is willing to take care of Kaiah during her rehabilitation from her second hip surgery. Big Sky Rottweiler Rescue has all needed funds to pay for the cost of Kaiah's surgery! All she needs is a foster home, or a home of her own where she can recover and rehab after her second surgery. The good news is that she has had surgery on one hip already, and has recovered well. This is a very young girl and would love to have her forever home.
Kaiah is a very lovable girl. She loves to give kisses to everyone including other dogs and also kitties. She is very dominant and would need to be the "alpha" dog. She is housebroken and responds to basic commands. She must be part beaver as she loves to chew on sticks.
Kaiah thanks you in advance and says she can hardly wait to give unending love and kisses to her new family.
Kaiah (ky-ah) has gotten big, but she still is a snuggle bunny with a superb Rottweiler attitude and temperment! She has very good house manners, and you will need tennis balls and nyla-bones if you want her to be happy. She is self confident, very smart, gentle, great with children of all ages, and has an extremely soft coat so she is fun to pet. She is crate trained, but now spends the night on her bed in the living room without problem. She knows basic commands quite well. Kaiah has been around many other dogs and horses without problem, and she likes to kiss the kitties(She actually tamed a wild cat and they are best of buds now). She comes well off-lead. Kaiah would probably make a very good therapy dog.
Medical Update: Kaiah doesn't show it, but this sweet girl has recently been diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both hips. We try and avoid the extreme rough play with the big guys, but she walks, runs and plays like any other young Rottweiler with her friends. Kaiah will have her other hip done as soon as she gets someone to rehab her. BSRR has the funds available. Note: Kaiah is a pure bred Rottweiler. It was incorrect when her bio stated earlier that she is mixed breed.
