Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
Cannon is new to our rescue so we are still evaluating him. We do know that in his short one and a half year life thus far, he's not been treated well and despite that he is a wonderful boy. He came into a shelter with a collar embedded into his neck and will probaby always a little bare spot without hair on his neck.
We're told he was good with other dogs at the shelter and we will post further updates on Cannon as they are known to us.
UPDATE: below is from Cannon's foster mom - what a great boy he is!
He is such a ham he actually possed for some of them. He has been so much fun so far. He still behaves pretty well but is trying to push it on occasion now that he knows he isn't going to get beat for it. He sits, stays, and lies down really well. He comes when called and loves to play but knows when it is time to settle down. He does have a slight focus problem when he is excited and gets distracted easily but what puppy doesn't. He appears to be fully potty trained. We have left him out in the house with our girls for as long as 4 hours with no accidents or damage. He chews only the toys that are out for the dogs and he likes to cuddle sometimes. The more time I spend with him the harder it is for me to believe anyone could be so cruel to such a cute loving pup.
