Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

We must say that Griz is absolutely a wonderfully sweet boy with great manners. He is definitely a cuddler and misses his home. We have found that while Griz likes children, he will try to dominate them, therefore, will not place him in a home with children. He can be pushy so will need an Alpha household. He has some arthritis in the back and is on joint meds to help it from getting worse. We are working on his weight issue and he has lost 20 pounds. Another 10 would be a lot better.
He is about 3 years old and pretty overweight. His family had to get rid of him because they were moving and they could not have him in their new place. He was an inside dog that slept at the foot of the family's bed. He is extremely house trained and WILL NOT go to the bathroom in the house. He is very well leash trained and is somewhat reliable off the leash. He knows tricks such as come, shake, down/off, stay, sit, and sit pretty. He has a moderate energy level and has lived with dogs; he is easy going, friendly and playful with other dogs but can play rough when the play time gets going. He has lived with cat and done well. Griz enjoys car rides, toys, tug-o-war and walks. And of course, this big boy thinks he is a lap dog. Griz is a playful, mellow social butterfly and like every dog, curious. He is not an escape artist.
