This is super urgent, this dog's owners are dropping it off at POUND for a death sentence next week. They are expecting their first child and live with the husbands father who doesn't want a dog and thinks it will bite baby. Please forward this to any and all ego would be able to take this dog in for a foster. Old owner willing to help financially he said.Please help us rehome our 3 year old Rottweiler-border collie mix, Van.

My wife and I are expecting in a few weeks, and don’t think he will be a good fit for a baby.

He does need some training, however he is extremely intelligent, and good 95% of the time.

Personally I think he needs someone that has strong pack leader skills.

Van is house trained, kennel trained, and does not destroy furniture, walls, or carpeting.

He is current on all vaccinations, is micro chipped, and is neutered.

The only reason we are removing him from our life is his insecurity.

This makes him feel uncomfortable at times, but for the majority, he is a sweetheart.

The last thing we want to do is send him to a shelter and be destroyed.

He is a huge part of our lives, and this is the hardest thing we have ever had to do.

With the right pack leader Van can be the best friend anyone can ask for.

Please help us rehome our dog.. He deserves the best!
