I had worn out my usefulness to the last people I belonged to, I guess. I found myself wandering through town, still recovering from the last litter of pups I had. I’m fast approaching my senior years, and no one but me knows exactly how many litters I’ve had in my short 5+ years.

My lucky day came when the Animal Adoption Center picked me up, and after waiting the required amount of time for a caring owner that didn’t exist, I was transported to a BSRR foster home. In this foster home, my “Rotten Angel” has cared for me like no one ever has !! I’ve had food at regular times, careful grooming and medical attention (what a blessing to know I will never have to give birth to more pups whose futures are unpredictable at best).

In return for the amazing, selfless, thoughtful care and nurturing I’ve received, I have resolved to show only the best behaviors I’ve learned in my life. I show my “Rotten Angel” the respect and love that she deserves; always at her side, returning the love that she gives me. I’ve never known what respect really felt like until now, and now even my name is a source of respect…………Miss Mayme

...My foster Mom just discovered that I LOVE kids! I could have told her that if she had only asked! I am very gentle and loving with children. Oh, and I love riding in cars! I sit in the front seat and my foster Mom calls me her "co-pilot", whatever that means. I just know that I make sure she is driving correctly. I am just waiting for someone to call my own - are you the one that will be blessed with all of my gentle love?
