Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

My foster Mom took me to the vet as she said I just didn't move, sit and lay right. Well I had xrays and I have severe hip displasia of both hips and suspected tears of the cruciate ligaments of both knees. While this is extremely painful, my previous home only wanted me to have puppies so MY medical condition was not of concern to him. Weighing 130 pounds and have 27 pups did my hips and knees in. I had lived with it so long that I kind of got used to the pain. The good news is, I will have surgery on my left knee on 8-24-15 and they say that will give me wonderful relief, so I guess I am looking forward to it. Then we will recheck the other knee to see if if needs surgery. The Vet has decided that I will have surgery on my other knee 8 weeks after my first one, so I am on hold for now til probably Christmas. At the present time I have an approved family that is waiting for me to get my surgeries and I will go home with them.
Bria is a 5 1/2 year old female Rott. She is a little timid but once she warms up is a big lover. She came from a house with five dogs and a cat and kids. She likes to give you her paw so it is easier for you to scratch her chest, and neck and rub her belly. If she is lying on her side, it is a big "high five"
