Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Duke has an adoption pending
Duke arrived early 2-5-18 with a wonderful dispostion, despite what he has been thru. He is very underweight, has white circles around his eyes, the ends of his ears bald and some bald patches on his body. He loves life, he loves toys and he loves people. For 6 months at the shelter he was in a 4x4 kennel with 7 other dogs. So he is obviously good with other dogs. 2-9-18 Dukes eyes are no longer white, I can see some weight gain and he continues to be happy and I can see his stress diminishing. He self entertains himself with his toys and plays with them nicely. He takes treats nicely and just wants to be loved on, he just closes his eyes as he is being petted. Duke has Erlichia which is a tick borne illness. 3-4 weeks of Doxycycline should clear this up nicely. He will be available when he is healthy. In the meantime we will asses his dispostion and update his bios. Duke had his last vet visit and his blood work was almost normal. He has gained 17 pounds and looks good
