Meet Maximus! He’s a big handsome boy looking for his forever home!

He is 6 yrs young and 103lbs. Very sweet and loving, like a big teddy bear. He is super strong and a little stubborn. He likes other submissive dogs.. because hey.. he is “Maximus!”

Not too fond of the kitty.

Seriously, he is healthy for the most part. We are treating him for HW. He did have a tumor removed on his neck area and it was cancerous. It was a type 1 sarcoma. It more than likely will come back. When? No one knows. The vet seemed to think he has many years left, because of his overall health. There is never a guarantee.

What I am absolutely sure of is this boy deserves a great home. We believe his owners knew he had cancer, so rather than face it and get him help, they dumped him in Harris county.
