Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
Alf is a 3 year old neutered Rottweiler who is a very large boy. He is a purebred rott whose dad is Wild Wooly of Gypsy and mom is Thumper's Miss Kelly Mt. Raven and I believe a great grandson of Cannon River Oil Tanker. He is house trained to a dog door and is crate trained although he does not like being in a crate. He is a little protective of his person and bonds very quickly. He takes a little time to warm up to people. He is pretty good with other dogs but is the alpha and would do fine with another female dog. He minds well and wants to be with his person all the time and is a very loving boy. Okay with cats and has done well with children but leans on them. Because he is such a large boy he will only be adopted to an experienced rott home. He needs someone who is home a lot. He is up to date on shots and worming and is microchipped. Contact Kathy Hooper at rottsrus@hooperlaw.net or 307/856-3401
