Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
This is Jake, he is a young boy, and will look nice when he fills out. Jake likes everyone and gets along with other female dogs. He was just picked up Fri from being snipped so he had plenty of testosterone in him still and at Petsmart thought he should bark at every male dog he could see. Fortunately, Jake is very food motivated and can probably be taught anything with a few Snausages. Jake soon learned that if he didn't bark at the dogs he would get a treat. By the end of the day, Jake would see the doggies and then look at you to say, 'I'm not barking, where's the beef?' If he did bark, you could tell him 'no' after one time and he would be quiet During the day the volunteer worked with him to 'sit' and 'down' and we even got him to 'sit up pretty'. Of course he needs work, but he has a great drive to please and food is definitely a positive for him. 040807
