Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
He is GWK (very tolerant of kids) GWD and poss GWC. He is cautious of men at first, but warms up. He is a big chicken heart - had to bark once at the Christmas tree when he first saw it. He know's 'Drop it' and 'sit' he is crate trained and very good in the house, but will counter surf if something is left out. He is VERY good about cleaning up after the kids, (see pict when crumbs are spilled) EXTREMELY food motivated, and can be piggy, but has learned to take treats nice and wait his turn when told. He walks easy on lead, my girls can almost walk him. He REALLY needs a home to love him, he is a doll, but a chicken heart, however I think in the right home, without a real dominant man and a family that will take him out more, he will be great. My 5 yr old daughter was trying to give Bear a treat when another dog came up to see what was going on, when my 5 yr old told the other dog 'no' Bear also backed off, even though he had started to take the treat. He is very good with kids.
