Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Rowdy needs a foster and/or forever home. Currently Rowdy is a referral. BSRR is not able to warrent the temperment of referrals. My brother, who is in Wyoming, has a very sweet Rottweiler who needs a better home. My brother is rarely home, and is very concerned for the dog, who needs someone to bond with and be with. He got the dog about six months ago from a co-worker who loved the dog, but couldn't keep him because his housing community decided not to allow it. The dog is young (I think about two or so), neutered, and about the size of an average black lab. His name is Rowdy, although he does not have a rambunctious personality. He is very friendly and wants to be with people, although he is not good with cats, and may or may not be good with other dogs. He does fine with some, but not with others. Rowdy is deaf, but he knows some signs, so if you can make eye contact, you can communicate with him. We would really like to see Rowdy go to a home where he will be loved and welcomed into someone's daily life. Right now he is unhappy and lonely.
