Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Kati is a real doll. She has not barked at all, just sits and observes things. She pulls pretty hard on the leash but that can be corrected easily. Kati knows sit and does it very well for treats. She is very intelligent and attentive and affectionate as well. Kati bounces around and gets in her play stance if you get her going, but is also content to lean up against you for loves. She is very ticklish on her chest and belly and melts to the ground. She is such a character. She is the deep mahogany color also. I estimate her at about two years old. I'm not sure about cats yet. Katie will be spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped before going to her forever home.
