Hi, Mom calls me Striker.  I don't know my name yet, but am learning.  She says I am a very nice boy who has had some training in the past.  I walk well on a lead and while helping her with chores, I will lay at her feet when she stops.  I make good eye contact with her, even while walking as I don't want to miss a cue. I come when I am called, mostly because I know "come". I melt when loved.  That pat and the stroke of the hand gets you lots of kisses and sends me to the floor belly up for more. I am a little on the thin side right now and my coat doesn't shine yet, but I am getting 3 squares a day and brushed (oh yes does that feel good)

I do not like being left alone and my foster Mom says I would do best with a stay at home Mom and or Dad (both would be awesome).  I was left alone at my first home so kept jumping the fence, so they took me to the shelter.  I can jump up 6' and grab onto the fence and climb over.  Since my kennel is covered now, I cannot do that.    However, when I am in the field with my foster Mom which is about 1.5 acres and has a 4 foot fence, I stay with her, when she lets me off lead. I have kennel mates and we are all good together, but if they leave to go exercise, I do not like that and want to be with them.    I want to be with someone, so if you want to get me and leave me home alone all the time, I cannot live with you.

I am a great guy with a good attitude and would love my forever home, are you ready for my LOVE!!

UPDATE:  Well, I know my name.  I have got so much better with my seperation anxiety.  Even though I don't like my buds to leave I no longer throw a fit.  I whine, jump on the kennel, but then lay down as I know they are coming back.  My foster Mom can put me in the field and watch me play.  I do not HAVE to have her by my side, although I like that best.  So I am learning and trusting and would like to get my forever home SOON.  I have gained good weight and my coat is looking lots better.  Even I think I am handsome now!!
