Sad update to my life
In August my former foster was notified that after living in my new home for 3.5 years, my Mom suffered a stroke and is unable to keep us.  My brother Gunny and I became homeless, but Big Sky took us back.
I am now about 9 years old.  My foster Mom tells me I am still as handsome and sweet as I was 3.5 years ago.  While I am sweet, I will bark at someone I don't know, but doesn't take long to be your friend.  (My Mom lived alone, so this was good for her)
I am healthy and loving and again need a home, is there someone out there that would be my final home so I don't have to live in a kennel the rest of my life?  While I am in a safe and loving place, I really want that family even if it is just a single person.
These pics are of me from before.

Here is my story.  I lived with a family for 5 years, then with the economy they started a day care.  Well my fellow cats didn't like the kids and the noise so started marking in the house.  Well, since I was still intact, I marked over the cats and was told I had to leave.  Good thing is the cats had to go too.

So my life as I knew it was over.  The shelter was going to make me sleep but I got into rescue instead. I am now neutered and told my marking days are over.  My old family didn't work with me, as I was just their dog.  I don't lead well, my foster mom says I am like trying to walk a team of sled dogs ready to race.  She said I will learn.  She was so excited when I sat as I didn't know that either.  I like you to watch me eat, actually holding the food bowl is better yet and I love scratchy rubs on my chest and neck.  My foster parents tell me I am ONE beautiful boy with a gorgeous head and stout body and nicely docked tail.

These shelter pictures don't do me justice so my foster parents will get some better ones.

 Update 3-9-11

I know how to sit, down and lead much better.  I am a quick learner and I guess I really knew this, just needed a strong reminder.
