Look at that mug! This poor fella began his life on a chain but we have promised Pippin that will NEVER happen again. This boy has come a long way since he arrived in his foster home. He is housetrained, crate trained, and has become a couch potato in the house. Pippin loves to cuddle with his people on the floor, couch, and/or bed and continues to learn basic obedience/commands. Is doing great with six other dogs in his foster home as well as both cats. Pippin does not like to be left alone; he becomes stressed and has a tendency to bark particularly outside when he is left alone. (This is probably due to his originally being chained outside all the time before be was surrendered.) He really needs to have a doggy companion to rough house and feel connected to when his people are gone. Pippin would be great for a companion to run, bike, hike and go anywhere and everywhere with. He does not have an aggressive bone in his body. A home with a secure, loving, nonchaotic environment would be best for this boy. Pippin is a GREAT dog. He will require a home that is knowledgeable of dog behavior, able to set boundaries, maintain a schedule, and has time to spend with this beautiful, worthwhile companion.
