Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Max is 10 1/2 years old going on 6! He is a very sweet, moderately active boy who has lived the past 7 years of his life outside. Because of this, he just wants to be with his human companion. Max may do alright with a mellow female dog companion, but would probably do best as an only dog since he craves human attention. Max has separation anxiety issues due to his isolation the past 7 years and he tends to mark in the house. He needs to wear a "belly band" or doggie diaper when his human is not nearby. Max would love to go for short walks and cuddle up to you to watch TV or read. He still likes to play, likes toys and also rides well in the car. Max is exceptionally healthy for his age, although he does need a daily anti-inflammatory for some minor, age related, arthritic issues.
