I am about five years old and my foster mom says I am eager to learn and a quick study learning to live in my foster home. I am smart, beautiful, highly perceptive, very active, affectionate and I love to please, but since I am physically very strong, very stong-willed and it appears i have not had consistent human leadership in my life, I do need a human that provides me with the leadership and the consistency that I crave. Additionally, I do need to lose some weight and my foster mom is also checking on some health issues that have appeared. I am well behaved in the house and i am fully housetrained. Basically, I am just waiting to sit in your lap for a cuddle. I adore attention and affection from humans, both big and small.  I now realize that I am expected to meet other dogs and animals with good manners. I am great with horses and livestock.However, here's my one request given my past: more than anything, my mom feels it is best that I am the only dog in my forever home. Also, since I am very insecure and unsure, I need an experienced owner and one who understands how important it is to my continued progress to provide me with both the attention and leadership that I crave.
