Bear is a beautiful, large rottweiler.  He is registered with the United All Breed Registry.  Bear had to find a new home because his previous owner became sick and was not able to care for him.   Bear previously lived with children, a Pappillon and a cat and did well.   He also seems to do well with other dogs and his former owner reported that she took him to the Dog Park frequently where he did fine.

The ONLY problem with Bear is that he does not like men and it takes him awhile to trust a new man.   He did great with the owners father and brother-in-law because he was raised with them.  He does growl and snap at new men when seeing them.

Bear's ideal home is a home with a single lady that doesn't have male visitors and doesn't put him in situations where he has to be around men.   Bear's previous owner believes that he would become friends with a man if given time and not pushed.  He has never bitten a male but has growled, barked and snapped at men that tried to get close to him.
Update: 1-21-15
Bear is now in an environment where he has daily contact with a man.  He takes treats nicely from him and interacts with him in his indoor kennel.  He is more bullish towards the males while in his outside kennel, but is treat motivated, so is learning that men are good and a source of food, love and attention.
