Sweet Sid was found nearly starved.  She was put on IV'S for fluids and nutrition, then reintroduced to solid fluid.  When she came into rescue, she weighed 47 pounds, after already gaining 15 pounds.  She is getting multiple meals a day and slowly gaining weight.  For all this, she loves all people and will climb into their laps for the love and attention she so wants and enjoys.  She is good with the dogs in their kennels next to her, but will need proper introduction to other dogs as she will bark at them if they bark at her. (I believe this to be part of how she survived on the street) She loves to watch the birds at Petco and is somewhat interested in the cats depending on their activities. 
She loves riding in the car and going where ever we go.
She would make a great dog for a family willing to show her the life she has missed so far in her young life.
Sid is now spayed and ready for her furever home.
2-21-15 update
We have been notified by Sids parents that Sid has passed due to complications from colon surgery and possible unidentified cancer
