Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.
Chopper is a 19 month old Olde English Bulldog. He is an awesome dog but is much larger than the normal bulldog and overweight. He will need someone willing to exercise him and get his weight down. He is making progress in his foster home but still has weight to lose to get to a healthy weight. He is picky about liking other dogs and would do best with a female dog close to his size. He is house trained, neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He walks well on a leash but will try and pull you around. He is a very strong boy but a real lover and a couch potato. He has been around small kids but I would prefer bigger kids because he's so large he could easily knock a little one down. He must live INDOORS year round as his coat is too short for cold weather and heat is difficult for him to breath in because of his breed. It is unknown how he does with cats.
Chopper is in a foster home currently. An application and home visit will be required to adopt Chopper through this BSRR website.
