Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

11/28 -This sweet girl was pulled from the local animal shelter where she was friendly but scared. She came into the shelter with porcupine quills in her paw, the shelter pulled what they saw and put her on antibiotics. She is still limping and will be checked further when she is spayed. She has had puppies, I would guess a few litters, but she is getting back in shape. Upon initial evaluation it is surmised that she was hit, most likely but a female, but is cautious of everyone. She would not come in the house at first, you could leave the door wide open. We finally got her in with the 'thundering herd' but that was a little crazy. LOL. She gets along great with all our other dogs. The kids love her and she is soo sweet to them. She will jump and yelp if bumped unexpectedly, but has not shown agression of any kind. She will be tested with cats in the future if need be. I will post more after her spay and checking for other quills.
