Help, I'm having a family emergency! My name is Diesel and my family is experiencing some unforeseen health issues that make it necessary for me to find a new family to live with. This is very difficult for us, especially for my dad! ¨C he loves me to death and doesn't want to see me go.

I've had to explain to him that it's for the best and we'll be able to find another very loving family that will appreciate me, at least almost as much as he has.

My start in life was pretty rough, being taken from my mom at only 5 weeks old. It was too soon to be adopted, and especially since I went to someone who just kept me locked in the house by myself for 10-12 hours a day. I have had to deal with some separation anxiety issues because of that. Fortunately, I was rescued by a very nice lady from Big Sky Rottweiler Rescue, even though I wasn't a Rottweiler (but at least I was wearing the right colors). She helped find my current home where I've been very happy for quite a while now, until our family emergency. Now she has come to my rescue again and I know that we'll find another great family that can help me reach my full potential in life. Everyone can see what a fantastic dog I am and that's why they are trying so hard to make this transition as easy as possible on me.

I am a 2 year old, large Doberman that has already had quite a bit of obedience training, both formal and informal. I have lived indoors, but like to be outside in a fenced yard when the weather is nice. I'm active and playful, good with cats and love playing with older children and well socialized dogs of any size (I feel intimidated by real dominant dogs though). My dad also brags that I've never had an accident in the house, so that's a real plus !! I really want a family that will include me in daily activities and make sure I get the exercise I need to keep me healthy and happy. In return, I'll be the buddy you've always wanted !
