Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

BENNETT is a 1.5yr Rottie/possible Golden mix. He is a medium energy, friendly goofy guy, that loves to play with other dogs, loves people and give kisses and would be OK with older children too (likely too rambunctious for little ones).
Bennett does have some looseness in a hip (tho no arthritis) & steep tibial plateau slopes in his knees. It doesn't affect him much but it does mean that he shouldn't be a runner or climb CO 14'ers.
We tagged for rescue because we had someone who wanted to adopt him until he showed too much interest in her cat. He's been evaluated by Dr. Egger, orthopedic surgeon, & we have his xrays and notes. He said that Bennett just needs regular, daily exercise...nothing excessive....to keep his hips & knees strong.
