Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Jay is an absolutely wonderful boy. He is just ready to go with the flow. He is enjoying a home where he is not chained and living on concrete. His eyes were baked by the Texas sun all day and he has dry eye, but eye drops have taken away the green discharge and he is seeing better because of it. With good food and ear cleaning he is more aware of things going on around him. He now enjoys people and seeks them out for attention. The tail was silent the lst week but now lets you know his happiness. He is so full of personality and it is starting to come out. He is definitely a people magnet. When taken to the vet, one of them that is terrified of the Rottweiler breed said if they were like him, she could see getting one. Since he is undergoing HW treatment, his activities are being heavily monitored as they have to be kept quiet.
Jay was surrendered to the shelter at the age of 14. All of a sudden he was too big!
Per ACT: Jay is a sweet, gentle giant. He easily comes from his cage and sits against the wall. He eats treats from my hands and the ground. He does not see well and he tenses when you touch him when he isnt expecting it but relaxes. Never any signs of agression. Really interested in rawhide chews. Allows me to pet him but doesnt seek more affection. He easily goes back in his kennel when he smells treats on his bed. No behavioral issues noted. friendly, bilateral crusting/ocular discharge, low heartworm positive
