Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

We are working on transport for Roxie and hoping she will be in rescue the weekend of the 7th/8th of May. We will have further evaluation at that time. We are going to say at this time that she may not be a candidate for a home with small kids if she still has a resource guarding issue as small children do NOT understand they cannot bother dogs that are eating or enjoying treats.
Shelter info Roxy is a 4 year old purebred Rottie who has been with us since the end of January. We were doing an eval on her when we discovered some resource guarding with a rawhide and bone. We sent Roxy to a foster home for about a month where an experienced foster parent worked on these issues and saw some improvement. She is good with other dogs, house trained, crate trained and loves to go on walks/runs. So not such good news on the cat test She was way too focused to get her too close to our office cat. It seemed she would chase if given the opportunity, the small office area isn't ideal but it gives some info. The foster home did not have cats.
