Why is it that when your family gives you up, they can tell other people all the good things about you, but it doesn’t make them want to keep you?? I am still in shock after hearing my family tell the shelter staff how well behaved I was, how good with the kids I was, how great around other animals I was……..and then they walked away.

My name is Oakley and I deserve better than that! I am looking for a new family that will appreciate all of those good qualities that my old family did not. I am everything they said I was and more. I am gentle, I love everybody and everything, and where ever I go people are drawn to me.

I know there is a family out there right now who has a place in their heart and home for a handsome, well behaved boy like me (with a nice cozy crate for me to sleep in). All you need to do is fill out the application to get the process started…….
