Clyde defines the term “gentle Giant”. He came to us after he wandered into someone’s yard and wouldn’t leave. The homeowner was caring for him and would have kept him but the family dog was not in agreement and it was decided that Clyde would better off coming into rescue.
Clyde is a very sweet senior, approximately 8 years old. He is gentle, comes when called, and doesn’t ask for anything more than to be with you. He is good with dogs, cats, and livestock---we haven’t tested him with kids but due to the arthritis in his hips, he would do best in a less stressful home than one with active children. He would be a perfect companion to another older dog or perhaps a family member.
Clyde is currently being given a daily medication to alleviate the pain from his arthritis but other than that, he is a healthy and occasionally bouncy, old boy and has a lot to offer the right person.
Special Needs: Clyde has arthritis and benefits from daily medication for that condition.
