Cyrus

Cyrus is a large active boy. He was so emaciated when we first got him, we thought he was a mixed breed, but after gaining weight, he appears pure bred. He does have a tail as shown in his picture, and normally carries it high. Cyrus was virtually unsocialized, but he is changing. He would constantly mouth and nip(very gently) trying to get attention, but has learned not to(mostly). He really craves attention, and has learned that the word “Good”, is often associated with food, so maybe it is a good idea to try and get me to say the word “Good”. He is very, very food oriented. Cyrus would make a great agility dog in the hands of an experienced trainer. At this time, he should only go to a home with Rott experience. Cyrus will shortly go into extensive training, and further evaluation. Update: Cyrus has made great strides in behavior. He has spent time at Montanafair in the children’s pavilion, and a day at Petsmart. He has met hundreds of people, including children of all ages, and been the perfect gentleman at all times. He has met and interacted with nemerous dogs of all sizes, and has been great. We would still like to see Cyrus go to an obedience class with his new person when he gets adopted.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids
