Ferdinand is a referral listing for Wyoming Basset Hound Rescue – please direct all inquires to the email address listed below.

UPDATE:  Ferdinand is a Rottweiler/Basset Hound mix, who we think is around 6-8 years old. He quiet and friendly and he is great around people and other dogs, but we don’t know about cats.  He is very calm and gentle and walks well on a leash.  He really enjoys going for walks! Ferdinand’s previous family took him to a shelter as a result of them having to go to rehab. If you can help this much deserving boy out and give him a forever home, please contact Holly…

.He is friendly, quiet and likes both people and dogs. He has met both men and women at the shelter, as well as other dogs there and he likes them! He was very calm and gentle upon meeting all of them. You’ll see he is getting acquainted with a lab mix in one of the photos. Ferdinand makes good, non-threatening eye contact, he is easy to leash up and he walks well on a leash. He really enjoys going for walks! Ferdinand’s previous family took him to this shelter as a result of them having to go to rehab. If you can help this much deserving boy out and give him a foster home or better yet, a forever home, please contact Holly at (307)272-8089 or email atbassetrescue@tctwest.net
