We took Hollie to Petco and she just loved all the people. We took her to the cat kennels and one big black nasty cat hissed and pawed at her. She looked at it and walked away. We took her to see the ferrets. She did the nose to nose thru the glass, then it was boring. We took her to the parakeets that were fluttering around and she could care less.
Hollie is a very active pup. She wants to play and explore and be with her person. She has great recall when out running when turned out. She would do well with an active family to DO things with. As a pup, she gets bored and will boredom dig or chew. She needs more leash work. She is treat motivated and just wants to please. Whatever you are doing she will be a wonderful helper. This girl has great potential to be molded into the dog you want her to be.
I have renamed Lollie--Hollie, it fits her so much better and it was a made up name by the shelter as she was a stray.
So far Lollie is a very sweet little girl. She is very submissive, but only wants you to love on her. She came with kennel cough, so we will be treating her for that. When done, she will need another 5way booster and will be ready to go to her new home.
Lollie will be arriving from Texas 11-20-15 and we will give you updates once we know more about her.
this is what the shelter in Texas says:
Good golly miss Lollie. She is one very sweet dog and you won’t find a better looking little girl. Her hair shimmers in the sunlight. She’s great with people and dogs. She is very quiet and calm and will love to go on walks with you. Come check out Lollie and you will see just how great she is.
