Thor has been free of blood in his urine since mid February. We doubled his dose of herbal meds, have limited his running and he has mysteriously passed 3 pieces of red rope, nothing we have ever used or seen.
We have found that Thor has a possible small tear of the kidney/bladder that is causing him to pee blood. He is currently on an herbal remedy that can be bought on line and he is getting some relief from this. We are still trying to find a hospital that can surgically repair this tear to take care of this condition.
We have found that he is NOT good with horses. We do not know about cats, he is good with dogs.
Thor’s ultrasound was done and there was nothing found anywhere. He is no longer peeing blood so at this point, he must have had some stress reaction to something in his home environment that is no longer there. His current foster says he is a fun, clown of a dog and enjoys helping you with whatever needs to be done.
During Thor’s transport, everyone that met him fell in love with him saying he is just a sweet boy. His current foster mom is arranging his vet work and getting more groceries into him. The last picture he was using Minnie Mouse as a pillow during transport
We received a rottweiler on Saturday as a owner surrender. He can no longer afford the vet bills for him.
Thor was having some issues with blood in his urine. He is now in our care and we will do an ultrasound to see if we can find a cause for the blood in his urine.
