I have an Adoption Pending!!That sounds like a good thing

Please note that Tobias is not quite ready for his forever home and needs a little more work on trusting men.  He is being put on the site in hopes that someone will be ready for him, when he is ready to go. He is a jewel.

Hi, I am Tobias.  I lost my home when my owners moved and couldn’t take me with them. I am a really sweet guy.  I am a little shy around new people, and takes me awhile to trust them.  I really prefer women to men.  I love kids and don’t bother other animals.  My foster Mom says I need to gain some weight as I am a big tall guy. 

My foster Mom and Dad will work with me on liking men.  He seems nice enough, but the past men in my life weren’t.  Check back for updates on me, or better yet, make me yours.

Update:  Well, I had no idea why my eyes always hurt, they watered and gooped up all the time.  My foster Mom said I had Entropian eyes and needed surgery.  She told me I would feel so much better afterwards.  I guess they were so bad, I have had to have a 2nd surgery to make them right. 

Update 7-21-11

I think I like my foster dad.  He feeds me, scratches me, gives me rubs and brushes me. He sits on my kuranda and talks to me.  I like it better when we are in a larger kennel as I still am a little frightened when there are close quarters, but I always come and kiss him.  I will even go to him when he is standing in the open.  He will continue to work with me.

Update 10-3-11

Well, I guess I am ready to go.  I now love my foster Dad and have been introduced to different men and although I really have to check them out at first, have found them to be OK and not so scary, I let them all give me head and neck rubs, but still a little leary of strange men touching my rear, unless it is a full body stroke.
