Not to be immodest but when the phrase “Good girl” was invented, I’m sure they were referring to me. My foster mom says I am super sweet and though I can be a bit shy at first, I warm up quickly. I’m good in the house, am quite happy to lay quietly with a bone or toy until you have time for me and oh, I am house trained so that is one less thing you have to worry about if you adopt me. (Which is, of course, something I hope you are considering).
I have lots of energy and can run and play 24/7---I’m game if you are. If you bicycle, I am trained to run beside you on a leash or, I could be your running companion. I’d love to accompany you on all your athletic pursuits; I really just want to be with you. Because of my boundless enthusiasm, I’d probably be best in a home with no small children but kids 8 and up would have such fun playing with me---we’d wear each other out and as any mom can tell you, a tired dog or child is a good dog or child.
Let’s see, what else can I tell you about me that will convince you? Well, I get along great with other dogs but as I do play hard, bigger dogs as playmates would be best. If we come across another dog when we are out walking and I’m on a leash, then a proper introduction is called for but that’s just good canine manners, right? I ride wonderfully well in the car too, so you can take me with you where ever you go.
Thanks for taking the time to read my story and, perhaps, contemplate adding me to your life. I know my ‘forever’ home is out there. Is it with you?
