Just this side of Heaven is a place called RainbowBridge
When an animal dies - one that has been especially close to someone here - that pet goes to RainbowBridge. There are meadows and hills for our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water, sunshine and cozy beds, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass - his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain on your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet - so long gone but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the RainbowBridge together.

Abbi
Abbi - 9 mos old. Too young for you to leave. Enjoy playing with all the others at the Bridge, until we meet again. God speed little Abbi Dabbi.
Abby
"Big, beautiful and sweeter than pie". That was my motto for you, my beloved Abby. One afternoon in October 2014 you
unexpectedly jumped into a kennel in the back of my car. Prior to that moment, I had been warned of your infamous history and behavior, but somehow on that afternoon
that I will never, ever forget, I chose to take this gesture as a sign that I should care for you until I could find a suitable forever home for you. How blessed I am that ultimately, that forever home on this earth was with me.
During our three short years together and while you battled every possible painful medical
affliction imaginable, you never lost your incredibly sweet,
loving and sensitive spirit. Given your past, I find it ironic how in our life together you brought out the best in every entity you encountered. You left this world a better place for having been here, Abby. Thank you for choosing me and for leaving your forever paw print on my heart and life.
I love you and can't wait to see you again at the Rainbow Bridge...
Ally - River
River is now waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge.
I want to thank you for sharing her with me - River brought such joy to my life and I am so grateful that she could spend that last year of her life with me as we had a great deal of fun! During the past year, she traveled with me throughout the US to the Smoky Mountains where we hiked and darted in and out of rivers and waterfalls! We drove up the east coast to Maine where she swam in the Atlantic Ocean, and into Quebec where she played on the beach almost every day. She was a fantastic dog with a heart of gold! Kids loved her and she was always so gentile and sweet! She was a great ambassador for the breed and I will miss her immensely!
Amos
Amos -
Our Maggie picked you to be her new brother. When she left to go to the Bridge, you helped us by giving us all your love. You earned your Canine Good Citizen, and Therapy Dog status, and showed everyone what a true gentleman you were. You showed nothing but love to everyone you met, and they in turn fell in love with you! We are honored that you enjoyed all the love we had to give you. You were a wonderful Momma's boy, and I will miss you more than you will ever know. Until we meet again, please give your sister Mags lots of love from your Mom and Dad. God speed My Amos - we all love you and will miss you.
